When fishing you will need something to sit on and there are a number of specialised chairs and combined seat and tackle carriers available.
What you choose depends on both your budget and the type of fishing you intend to do, but to begin with a stool incorporating a rucksack, or one of the rectangular plastic seat boxes will be fine.

Whatever you choose, remember that you will have to carry it to the bank, so something light and compact that is just big enough to accommodate your fishing tackle and some food or drink will be preferable to an unnecessarily large specialised tackle carrier.
You may also wish to purchase a rod holdall to carry your rods, bank sticks and net pole. You can manage without one to begin with, but basic holdalls are inexpensive and make it less of a chore to carry your tackle over long distances. Before you buy a rod holdall make sure that it is long enough to take your longest rod.
